The way we occupy space with our bodies and we move in the world reveals things about our person we are not aware of and which, often, we would like not to be seen, or even see ourselves. Discover how to be the best version of who you really are.

The typical hands-on intervention of DFA Somatic Pattern Recognition in combination with the education of sensory percepción helps to become aware of the shapes in which you occupy space with your body and move in the world, to discover the involuntary tensions which keep you in conflict with the world and/or yourself and to let go the excess tension so that you will be able to rest within the world you are a part of and within the depth of what you are as a living being, a human being of your gender, and an individual.

In your private life, this course will help you to become aware of the postures you adopt in the way you relate to your loved ones, family and friends and to find ways that make the relationship easier and more pleasant.

At work, this course will help you to find, moment to moment, the way to position yourself in relationship to your chair, your desk, your computer, your colleagues, your bosses, your employees, your clients, students and whatever there is at your work place, without ever losing your space.

You will work more at ease, with less tension and pain. Your creativity will flow more freely and you will be more responsive facing the requirements of each moment. When all the parts of the body know how to function as a team within the gravitation field of Earth, cooperation in the work team will also improve. You obtain better results and the risk to suffer accidents and sickness is reduced.

If you are an artist, it will help you to raise the versatility of your expression on stage. If you are a athlete, it will help you to improve your performance and prevent injuries.

 

Breathing

This course does not teach you a technique for proper breathing, but it helps you uncover and allow the natural movements of breathing. If you have respiratory problems or you feel you lack energy to live life fully, this course is for you.

There is also change that comes from ignorant behaviors and it is important to be able to recognize them in order to take position and find ways to protect life, health, and nature.

Duration of the basic course

six moduls of four months each, total 96 hours

Advanced level 1

three moduls of four months each, total 48 hours

Advanced level 2

three moduls of four months each, total 48 hours

Ideally, the sessions take place in continuous weeks over the course of the year. However, if that is not possible, the moduls can be fragmented in order to adapt the course to the the possibilities of each individual. There is no commitment to the full length of the course. Nonetheless, ist is required to group the sessions in a minimum of three, preferably 4 or 5 sessions per month. If theses sessions cannot be taken in a weekly rhythm due to geographical distance, they can be grouped together in one intensive week to cover the monthly quota. Certificates will be extended upon completion of the basic course and the advanced levels respectively.
